I found myself being irrationally angry every time I had to tie my shoes this fall, especially when it got colder and I switched from sneakers to hiking boots as my everyday shoes. I asked around what kind of slip on leather shoes or boots people liked, and I got some Blundstones.

Life changing to just slip on my boots. No more irrational annoyance about tying laces. They took some time to soften up a bit, but it was worth needing to pay close attention when putting them on for a week or two.

this is great to know, esp for anyone who has to like throw on some shoes to walk the dog or get the kids to school.

I replaced all my regular sneaker shoelaces with elastic ones! Instant slip ons!

YES! Blunstones! I’ve worn a pair almost exclusively for the last 15yrs, my whole family wears them. They are so durably waterproof that I’ve had my current pair through at least half a dozen rainy seasons out here in the pacific NW - cannot recommend highly enough!

For winter walking - I highly recommend these: https://www.sundancecatalog.com/product/mackenzie+snow+slip-ons.do?sortby=ourPicks&refType=&from=fn

For other seasons, check out Kizik brand, they are sneakers literally made to be able to put on/take off without using your hands.

Oooh around the time I was pregnant 5 years ago, I gave up on tying shoes towards the end, and then once I wasn't pregnant I still and have continued to hate tying my shoes! At some point socks with crocs or birkenstocks will be unreasonable for the weather so I will check these out, lol :)
