I bought my daughter a pink christmas tree for her bedroom a couple years ago and love busting it out every year to her delight. Also a good place to hang the fugly ornaments I don't want on the real tree that she adores.
I am normally a winter holiday minimalist - tree, maybe a wreath, and stockings. Done. This year, I told my husband and kids to go nuts, buy shit for the yard, light shit up, hang things to their tacky hearts' delight - make 2020 festive. A large chunk of change at Home Depot later & we are full Griswald and they are IN HEAVEN! [this included my daughter getting a small tree w/ twinkle lights and ROSE GOLD (clutch) ORNAMENTS for her room which may never come down]
